THE DIVINE CREATIVE
I believe that divinity + creativity are one.
And poetically, I say: creativity is the new deity.
To me, our creativity is how we allow the luminous form—divinity—to commune with our imagination, intuition + intelligence, creating what I think of as a sense of musery.
The beauty in this is that we’re inspired, empowered; led from within—rather than, controversially, taking guidance from the external. AKA the age of the guru; the light-seeking spark of the late ’60s—sitting in the Himalayas—and existing well into the new millennium.
And then light became mainstream. Personal growth has become the new flex.
As I see it, we’re doubling the light on the planet.
Modern theologies are birthing by the multitude; Instagram teachers are the new cult; wellness is the new rock + roll.
For me, spirituality—for want of another word—is the inner work.
It’s energetic attunement.
It’s inner evolution cultivated through a myriad of ascension-based styles. Blossoming into the collective consciousness from the point of creativity itself.
A very cool happenstance that is in the here + now.
And just as we live in night + day, good + bad; light + dark; sun + moon; autocracy + democracy; masculine + feminine, we’re in a pendulum swing towards greater balance; as the energy of the feminine softens the known rigid.
My sole intention with these words is equality; an equality that feels like harmony.
The beauty is that this return can be peaceful; even sensual. Feminine energy, as I understand it, rebalances through creation. And it’s this principle of creativity that I see coming into form here.
Cool to me, is people doing their inner work; sourced from within + inspiring the creation of a sovereign body of work; empowering the entrepreneurial-free to travel at their whim + fancy; breaking all the conventional rules along the way.
It’s being led + lit from within.
The luminous life, as I call it, is unlimited. It sits with joy, bliss + serenity; the top echelons of emotive states. Our ability to commune with the universe + create a higher way here from the atrocities we have faced on earth for millennia, is our reality.
It’s a beautiful, complex web that we move within; a snakes + ladders world of what we believe, we create. What feeds us within ascends; and equally, what may feed on us within, descends.
The ladder is what I call the creative channel.
The internal architecture is actually quite simple. We use the breath as a way to create spaciousness within for light—divinity—to take the helm; with the simple intention of allowing, connecting + opening. A plethora of esoteric development tools are now rife + dinner-table-conversation-level available to all of us: meditation, ice bathing, hiking, surfing, dancing—mindfulness.
The path, once paved, is a simple one.
And this created channel of spaciousness is the energetic blueprint for almost all healing modalities; allowing higher energy to take the place of lower forms.
Which brings me to the Journal—Substack—divine ramblings I’m bringing to this page.
The tagline of this Journal is Alignment for the Divine + Creative Muse.
The modern muse is innately a creative channel.
To me, this is the ultimate grace.
Allowing ourselves to be multidimensional; to follow our curiosities, change form, gather new skills + allow one creative expression to lead beautifully into another; to elevate our energy elegantly through the way we live.
Creating spaces; playing with décor has always been one of my greatest loves. Singing, acting + writing, a close second. Yet creativity moves through all aspects of my life: travel, daily manifestation, the luminous life. One of my most treasured experiences is walking into a blank room—a blank canvas—and creating a space that makes me feel something when in it; from days to years.
The feminine quite literally creates life.
We’re all cut from creativity. And on a down-to-the-ground level, everyday problem-solving is also a creative art.
I believe the creativity within all of us, beyond gender, may be one of the simplest expressions of divinity; taking what exists internally—an idea, an instinct, an imagining—and allowing it to form into something more beautiful in this world than was present before.
This is the way I live my life; as an evolving body of work.
